Hi there, you must have moved out shortly after we moved in! If you want to keep in touch, I can recommend the village website (www.SpeenBucks.org.uk) If you are planning a visit soon, make sure you are here during the Speen Festival (6-20 September). This started just after the Millennium and has been going every other year since. The Village Fete is still going, and Denise Nayner is still the head at the village school! The Old Plow was closed down earlier this year as Olivia and Malcolm wanted to retire and could not find anyone to buy the business. The King William IV is currently struggling. Speen Chapel is having another inter regnum. The bonfires on the playing fields have been spectacular over the last 3 years, including getting coverage in a national newspaper (The Times). JR.

Sorry to see the plough go I cant remember ever going in there but it seems a waste with the reputation it had for good food. As for the Billy why is it struggling surely theres enough people in the village to keep it viable anyhow thanks for the update John
