Hi Jude, Four of us went back to the KWIV afterwards. It was explained that the Quiz night numbers had been falling off (previous session was down to 3 eating) and a restaurant booking made more commercial sense. There was little warning of the possible numbers, but meals were available (from the standard menu) for similar prices to other local places. Only 12 of the 23 actually ate out that night anyway, and this was checked with the P&L before arriving - not done with the KWIV. Mike agreed the communication could have been better, but he was caught on the hop. Next week (Thursday 28th) will be Village Night again. We will be there, fighting to retain our local. I am not prepared to give up. We will make it work!
